The seasonal Story Book had readability issues, with dense text, unclear pricing, and spacing that made it difficult for users to navigate and understand the content. This resulted in confusion and reduced engagement with the products.

( Goal )

The goal was to clearly communicate the brand’s three core seasonal themes while helping users understand the collection and make confident purchase decisions ahead of the season.

( Concept )

The concept preserved the original Story Book’s natural and vintage atmosphere while enhancing a refined, editorial “book-like” experience. The design balances softness and clarity, allowing storytelling and products to coexist naturally.

( Design Approach )

To improve product clarity, generous spacing was used to enhance text readability and help users focus on each item. Product links were moved from text to images, reducing confusion and creating a more intuitive path to purchase. While maintaining familiarity with the existing design, the layout prioritizes clear visual flow and a smoother user experience without disrupting the brand’s established look.

The redesigned Story Book presents the seasonal collection in a clear and engaging way, allowing users to browse multiple looks comfortably while supporting stronger product understanding.

This project reinforced the importance of designing from the user’s perspective, particularly in the use of spacing and link placement. It highlighted the balance between clarity and maintaining a consistent brand identity.
